Project Description

Not quite five feet wide by nine feet long, this 60’s bathroom was bursting at the seams trying to serve both a mother and her pre-teen daughter. This remodel shows how much you can do with a small space and a lot of attention to detail.
Adding the garden window made a big difference, not just for better lighting, but for function as well. Along with the curved shower rod and sliding-height shower head, the bathing space is now feels more spacious and inviting. The clutter problems were solved with a slightly longer and higher vanity than previously and a lighted, recessed mirror cabinet (by Robern) that takes advantage of every inch of available space. The color palette and style reflects the client’s preference for all things French, European, and spa-like.
