I design both large and small spaces, transforming dated interiors into exciting and functional places to live or work. As you experience the images displayed in my portfolio, you will see quite a variety of projects. Some are large, extravagant custom homes with budgets to match, while others are small spaces in need of creative, budget-conscious solutions. Most of my work is now concentrated in Marin County and nearby communities.

I welcome design challenges large and small. On the Transformations pages you’ll see dozens of Before & After transformations made possible by carefully considering a variety of options that take into account the unique personalities, budget, and style of each client. Clicking on any image in those pages takes you to that project’s details page explaining the aesthetic and functional problems presented along with the final design solutions.

I’m a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a Certified California Designer (CID).

I offer a variety of interior design services to suit your individual needs. Ranging from hourly consultation to total project involvement, my services include space layout, color scheme development, architectural plan review, interior architectural detailing, cabinetry, furnishings, lighting, and accessories as well as remodeling specifications. Together we’ll explore your home’s potential, develop a realistic budget and time-line, determine your color and style profile, and break the project into phases should you want to implement it over time.

Hospitality and health care, especially senior living facilities, are my specialty.  Environments like these need to meet a myriad of complex public health and welfare codes as well as communicate a welcoming sense of place. I enjoy consulting and designing the best combination of aesthetics, costs, function, upkeep, and guest/patient/resident experiences.
