Tiny, Tiny Bath Remodel

The Story Behind the Pictures

TINY, TINY BATH REMODEL

Not quite five feet wide by nine feet long, this 60′s bathroom was bursting at the seams trying to serve both a mother and her pre-teen daughter.  This remodel shows how much you can do with a small space and a lot of attention to detail.

Adding the garden window made a big difference, not just for better lighting, but for function as well.  Along with the curved shower rod and sliding-height shower head, the bathing space is now feels more spacious and inviting.  The clutter problems were solved with a slightly longer and higher vanity than previously and a lighted, recessed mirror cabinet (by Robern) that takes advantage of every inch of available space. The color palette and style reflects the client’s preference for all things French, European, and spa-like.
